Many businesses contribute generously to the Food Bank’s work. In this Hunger’s Hope edition, we highlight two great corporate supporters – Cafe Spice and Enterprise Holdings.

Cafe Spice has been a proud partner of the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley since 2015.  Located in New Windsor, New York, Cafe Spice is a family-owned and operated food manufacturer of global cuisines that has always believed in giving back to their local communities.  Over the years, Cafe Spice has donated over 30,000 pounds of food to the Food Bank, and in 2021, they initiated an employee holiday food drive.  In addition, Cafe Spice has sponsored the Food Bank’s Farm-to-Fork event each year, where they love to participate in the cocktail hour by serving their boldly flavored dishes to everyone in attendance and meeting others who share in the common mission of the Food Bank. Sameer Malhotra, Cafe Spice’s Co-Founder and CEO serves on our Advisory Board. The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley’s mission of alleviating hunger and preventing food waste resonates with Cafe Spice’s values, and as the company grows, its support of the Food Bank will likely grow as well.

Enterprise Holdings

has supported the Regional Food Bank since 2016, when it launched its “Fill Your Tank” initiative to combat food insecurity in the communities it serves. This initiative supports Feeding America food banks throughout the country and has provided major financial support to our operations each year since then, contributing the equivalent of more than 1.5 million meals. Additionally, local Enterprise leaders host annual volunteer events at the Food Bank to further engage their employees in community service. We are so grateful for our partnership with Enterprise and the tremendous impact its efforts have on the Food Bank and our neighbors in need.
