The Annual Dinner is a special event for the Food Bank and this year it was made even more special as we honored Steve & Shelly Truk. The Turks own and operate the award-winning, Rocking Horse Ranch Resort in Highland as well as America’s Biggest Little Water park, SplashDown Beach in Fishkill. Together they have carried on their family’s tradition of philanthropy by supporting our community with many generous donations to education, the arts and for various health initiatives as well as sitting on the boards of the Dutchess County Tourism Council, Vassar Hospital Foundation Board, the Riverside Bank Board of Directors and the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. Two hundred people turned out at Torches on the Hudson in Newburgh to celebrate the Steve and Shelly and their commitment to the community.
