Ocean State Job Lot celebrated its Grand Opening on Saturdayfor their new store on Rt. 9 W in Poughkeepsie. City officials and local citizens turned out to help make it a festive occassion. Food Bank Director Jan Whitman was there to accept a tracktor trailer of food donated by Job Lot as part of the celebration. The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation annually raises money for food banks throughout the Northeast, cancer care at Boston Medical Center, and hosts the Annual Golf Charity Classic, which raises money for regional food banks.
