The annual Jam the Van food drive returns again this year to help local residents in the Hudson Valley this holiday season. For the past seven years, WCZX has been collecting food and money for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
Once again, they’ll be at five local Shop Rite grocery stores in the Hudson Valley. Starting Thursday, Nov.ember 15 through Sunday, November 18.
Collection teams will be at the following Shop Rite locations:
Route 9 in Poughkeepsie
Route 9 in Fishkill
Route 82 in Lagrange
Miron Lane in Kingston
Route 299 in New Paltz
At each location, we are collecting non-perishable food items. Canned goods, pasta, toiletries, anything that won’t go bad. Things that need to be refrigerated can’t be collected at this drive. For the four days during the drive, we’ll be stuffing giant tractor trailers that will be delivered to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley in Cornwall.
