Volunteer helpWith recent cuts in SNAP (formerly the Food Stamp Program) More and more people are turning to food pantries and soup kitchens to feed their families. To help meet the increasing need, the Food Bank is seeking new sources of food. As this new food comes into the Food Bank, our dedicated volunteers are working hard to sort,  and prepare it for distribution to nearly 400 emergency feeding programs in the Hudson Valley. Now we need your help. We are looking for groups and individuals who can volunteer a few hours a week to help us sort the food and get it to those in need. If you have the time and the Heart we need you. We have day, evening and weekend shifts. If you can help please contact: Carol Griffin-DePaolis or call 845-534-5344.
Nothing makes your day a little brighter than knowing you have helped to make someones life a little better.
