Canstruction® is an international competition that raises awareness about hunger while facilitating the donation of thousands of pounds of canned food to those in need. Teams of students from The Kildonan School, Oakwood Friends School, Poughkeepsie Day School and The Randolph School will showcase their canned food sculptures February 1-7 at Poughkeepsie Galleria.
All cans used in food sculptures and donated through this competition will go to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
Last year the teams collected 5,975 lbs of food. That’s a lot of food!
